I have no desire to turn 25. My birthday is in precisely 5 days. There will be no fanfare. I may spend the day away from work (despite the fact that I generally work through the weekend). I have no plans for the 4th. Most of my acquaintances are spending the day with their families. This is something I'm very content not to have, but can be a bit of a downer on those family holidays.
Konohamaru, get your friends together. We're all going to dinner on Sunday night. Someplace nice, so no jeans and tshirts, all right kids? And yes, in case you were wondering, this is our date.
I believe you owe me a date. Clear your calendar Friday evening. Suit and tie, please, darling. ♥
However, this day offered me a pleasant little surprise. Not only was I granted a fantastic time with Orochimaru so we could catch up on lost time, but I've been provided with a personal assistant. His name is Konohamaru, and I'll enjoy working with him very much. I was afraid I'd have to make time to hire my own - I couldn't do this forever.
I've only been here three days. I haven't even gone around and introduced myself properly, but I did leave a tray of blueberry muffins in the staff room this morning. I don't bake, but maybe no one will notice they're from a bakery.
My first day was about 10 hours long. It took that much time to return phone calls, go through scripts, and try and sort out casting on some films. Yesterday? 12 hours. I'm wondering how long I'll be here today. I could really use a back massage, and someone to rub my feet. That would make my job so much more heavenly.
Mm, well, back to the grindstone, I guess. I hope the delivery boy gets here with my lunch soon. I'm practically famished.

I had an adorable little blond visitor to my office just now. Have we learned anything from this, darling?
